E.A.T__WORKS is a collective of artists, technologists, curators, art historians, collectors, culture stewards, and curious folks. Many of us hold multiple identities! We have come together to support and enjoy the creation of technology-driven works of art and facilitate collaboration between artists and those working with cutting-edge technology.

In the spirit of the original Experiments in Art and Technology, we are here to carry the torch forward, facilitating experimentation and creating a space where artists and technologists can freely collaborate, explore, and (sometimes) fail in order to generate new possibilities.

Matchmaking and collaboration are at the heart of our mission, and our members reflect a spirit of openness and generosity. We are here to learn about each other’s work, and offer support: our talents, our networks, our thoughts and other tangible ways to help bring new creative works to life.

If this sounds exciting, we’d love to add your brilliant mind to our member community! You can earn membership by participating to further our mission. Turn up for Salon events (virtual or IRL), submit artistic experiments for consideration, offer technical or other resources to help creative projects come to fruition, lead or participate in discussions about this moment in art and technology and the history of experiments in art and tech and collect art from member artists.

Members are invited to contribute experiments and resources for future matchmaking seasons.

Join by invitation or request: Anyone who is a member can extend an invitation, and anyone can join our discord to request a membership. New membership passes are released on a regular basis.

Members can:

  • Submit artistic experiments
  • Contribute technical or other project resources
  • Attend virtual and live events, including artist studio visits and the Salon series
  • Help shape future programming
  • Receive recognition and thank you gifts for participating
  • Much more to come as we grow!
